The FSS Program at KHA is an incentive program supported by the federal government to help you with your goals for your family which can be school, work, and homeownership. FSS staff work with you to find local agencies to help you with those plans.
The “BIG” incentive of the FSS Program is the escrow account that is set up for each family as their earned income increases. Once you’ve completed your goals, including suitable employment you will receive the money in your escrow account!
You have from 5 to 7 years to complete your goals. We are here to provide our support, listen to a bad day story, find a name/number for a problem, and celebrate your success!
Every family has a unique plan for their future. This plan is created by you to build your future for your family. This plan can be adjusted if family plans change.
Please don’t miss your opportunity to set up an escrow account for you and your family’s future. Never again will your landlord put aside a portion of your rent and return it to you. FSS staff have been happy to see families complete education or employment plans, such as fulltime employment, becoming a manager or team leader.
